Kimberly-Clark Corp. announced that it will outsource some of its human resource services to Accenture.
The move is part of cost-cutting initiatives the Irving-based maker of Huggies diapers and Kleenex tissues announced in July 2005.
Kimberly-Clark said Accenture would provide recruitment, payroll administration, work-force reporting, employee data management and training and development services under the seven-year deal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A news release issued did not say how many Kimberly-Clark workers would be affected by the outsourcing.
Accenture spokeswoman Caitlin Storhaug said Accenture would not be employing any displaced Kimberly-Clark workers.
